[99] Bianca Herzog, bookstagrammer at @mybookworldtour

“We need to be mindful about this concept of books teaching you something, especially books from different cultures. You can never summarize a whole country, culture, or reality from just one point of view.” – Bianca Herzog

Bianca Liu Herzog is the creator of @mybookworldtour, the Instagram account dedicated to her journey in reading one womxn authored book from every country in the world. When she isn’t reading, Bianca works full-time in international cooperation, with a focus on global youth development and empowerment. Bianca is Brazilian, of Chinese and German heritage, and currently lives in Paris, France, with her boyfriend and their puppy Oscar, but is packed to move to New York City as soon as COVID-19 allows.

Renee Powers founded Feminist Book Club in 2018 to provide a space for intersectional feminists to learn, grow, and connect. When not reading or running the biz, you can find her drinking coffee and trying unsuccessfully to teach her retired racing greyhound how to fetch. Favorite genres: feminist thrillers, contemporary literary fiction, short stories, and anything that might be described as "irreverent"
