Resistance in a box: The first-ever feminist book subscription box

Here's how it works

Choose a plan.

Read the book.

Chat and connect all month.

Who Are You:

You're a woman who craves little indulgences and finds solace in silence.

You love getting lost in a book but wish your best friends were reading the same thing. Because you're dying to talk to someone about that part that moved you to tears or punched you in the gut.

You highlight your books, whether it be to reference later or to honor a beautiful turn of phrase.

Deep down, you know that women will change the world and that we're stronger when we're together.

Nevertheless, you persist, you resist, you're feminist, but goddamn, sometimes you're tired of taking care of everyone.

You're here for a few reasons:

- You want motivation to read the books you've been wanting to read.

- You're tired of all the bullshit in this world and are looking for the solidarity of other women to lean on, share, and celebrate.

- You lack a self-care routine and desperately want to jumpstart one.

- You geek out on all things feminism, sexuality, intersectionality, and womanhood OR you want to know more.

In a nutshell

  • Receive a crisp new book each month that is written by a feminist author or covers feminist themes (oh yes, bring on that new book smell...)
  • Discover 2-4 new products each month from woman-owned businesses to deepen your self-care toolkit (everything from jewelry to skincare and beyond!)
  • Experience support from your new literary sisterhood through the secret Facebook group for ongoing discussion and monthly live video chats (wine optional but encouraged)
  • Participate in the book of the month poll to suggest and vote on next month's book (you'll wanna keep a To-Read list)
  • Delight in and repurpose the one-of-a-kind collaged box made by hand in the spirit of feminist 'zines of the 1990s (just like the wand chooses the wizard, we believe the box chooses the book clubber)
  • 5% of sales go to a new feminist organization each month
