Rachel Louise Snyder is an American journalist, writer, and professor. She is a 2020 Guggenheim Fellow and regular contributor to The New Yorker covering domestic violence, and her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times Magazine, New Republic, and elsewhere. In addition to No Visible Bruises, she is the author of a novel What We’ve Lost is Nothing. Both books are now out in paperback.
