[45] Emily Edwards, host of Fuckbois of Literature

“The only reason I can think of why these books are taught in the way they’re taught at the ages they’re taught is to continue to drive home the idea and importance of white patriarchy.” – Emily Edwards

Emily Edwards is a writer and producer living in Los Angeles. A graduate of Emerson College’s Writing, Literature, and Publishing program, Emily has worked as a copywriter and radio producer for nearly 15 years. In March of 2019, she created Fuckbois of Literature, the coalescence of her lifelong love of literature and her equally as lifelong desire to yell jokes about books into a microphone.

Renee Powers founded Feminist Book Club in 2018 to provide a space for intersectional feminists to learn, grow, and connect. When not reading or running the biz, you can find her drinking coffee and trying unsuccessfully to teach her retired racing greyhound how to fetch. Favorite genres: feminist thrillers, contemporary literary fiction, short stories, and anything that might be described as "irreverent"
