Ashley speaks with Colleen Hubbard about her debut novel, Housebreaking. The story follows Del, a 24-year-old who inherits a home after her mother died and dismantles it to move across the pond during one winter. In the conversation, Ashley and Colleen’s discussion includes age and milestones, welcoming humor amidst grief, and writing fulfilling gay men amidst the AIDS crisis.
