FBC x Peney Cakes

Hello there!

My name is Jeney and I am the owner and head baker of a bakery and dessert food truck called Peney Cakes. As a huge fan of reading, pastries, and fighting the pariarchy – I was honored when the team at FBC asked me to pair one of my epic cupcakes with the Feminist Book Club Box book of the month.

When I saw this month’s book was We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry, I knew exactly which cupcake would be perfect for the Danvers Falcons. The Snack Attack is a chocolate chip cupcake filled with creamy marshmallow fluff. The cake is topped with peanut butter buttercream along with caramel sauce, potato chips, pretzels, chocolate candies, and a mini peanut butter cup. This sweet grenade of deliciousness is perfect for loading up on protein (and carbs) before the big game as well as fuel for those overnight team pledges to Emilio Estevez (The Claw approves.)
