All You Need to Know about the Summer 2021 #FBCReadathon

The second Feminst Book Club Readathon is upon us! To celebrate 3 years of Feminist Book Club this month, and the grand opening of our new space, we are hosting a weekend full of reading and awesome prizes.

Just like our last readathon, this one is all about relaxing and having fun with our favorite bookish friends. There will be plenty of opportunities to share your reading progress updates, which increases your chances of winning prizes. Keep in mind that you don’t need to be a member to sign up and join us to read. Our goal is to build community and make this the best weekend ever!

Here is everything you need to know about how to join:

Dates:

Friday July 23rd – Sunday July 25th

Where to sign up:

You can sign up here. More information, including extensive answers to FAQ’s can be found on this page. Up until the readathon starts, there is an early bird sign-up giveaway every week on our socials. If you haven’t yet joined in, you totally should.

How to participate:

Once you’re signed up, that’s it! You can read as little or as much as you want, and join in at any point. This is a low-stakes, low commitment readathon, so there are no reading prompts, specific requirements, or rules. We just want to spend a weekend reading together, chatting if you’d like to, and giving away fun things. The list of what you can win is extensive, and the grand prize is a 6 month subscription to FBC!

Please note that to be eligible to win, your social media profiles must be public for at least the duration of that weekend. If that is not something you’re comfortable with, maybe consider creating an account just for this readathon; participants have done this previously and it worked for them.

Where we’ll be posting that weekend:

-Look out for giveaways and live chats on our Instagram.

-We’ll also be doing giveaways on Twitter

-Be sure to include #FBCReadathon in all your posts and updates.

And that’s it! Be on the lookout for special readathon merch later this month that you won’t want to miss. If you have any questions, please visit our FAQ’s, or reach out to us.
