![This month’s theme is as relevant as ever: Immigration 🌎️
It’s easy to say that immigrants deserve human rights, and it’s hard to believe that this fact has continued to be controversial. So many of us are, after all, living on stolen land, in a nation built by slaves and immigrants.
We know this means there’s a lot of work to do: to learn about the immigrant struggle, to develop empathy for their experiences, and to share their stories with others. With so many people displaced right now and a growing narrative of us vs. them, the civilized and the other, we’re grateful to have a space where our members can come together to do some of this work in our online community.
